Today was Senior Rec Day at Mosley. Being the third and final of these ceremonies for my girls I know what's coming...
The gathering of the goods....4 years of stuff to rummage around and find. We did pretty good...only lacking one silver dolphin medal! There is also the ironing of the gown...as if that does anything at all!! Finally, there is the putting on of the cap and the age old words...this looks ridiculous! But then she dashes out the door and we follow a bit later.
I tear up when they process in...to Pomp and Circumstance...why must they do this???
Then comes the awards and scholarships...
And this priceless picture of Mr.C and Katelyn...only he calls her Katie...which drives her crazy!
The top ten (Katelyn is #5)...and in case you are counting...this year there are 11!
Afterwards it is all smiles...a couple of pictures...and then "see ya mom we are all going to lunch"...
Life is soooo grand :)
