Wow...the days are speeding by! So here is the "rest of the story" about Thanksgiving. The afternoon was busy...some went out on the boat, some napped, and some set tables for our dinner party for 18! Late afternoon rolled in with the croquet tournament and then we gathered and gave thanks and ate and visited! What a wonderful wonderful day! My sweet husband was happy with his favorite day...he loved breakfast, enjoyed the boat, played croquet, and invited a couple from our church to join our gang for the evening! I asked him on Friday what his favorite part of the day was and he went through the list I imagined and then said "But honestly, late Thanksgiving night, lying in bed listening to our three girls giggling uncontrollably upstairs in Kate's room was my favorite thing!" That is my guy...the simple things are the best!
Sue arrives with afternoon snacks!
Rich gives Sarah a captain's lesson!
One of the boys needs a nap...hmmmm!
Mary won the croquet match (even though it appears that
Chelsea is trying to interfere)!!
Love my apron and my cousin Debbie!
Not every wife would allow this raggy-neck-can't come clean
sweatshirt on Thanksgiving Day...but then there's that apron again!

Rich's Uncle Bob and Bonnie in a food coma after dinner!
9:30...we are still going strong...sorta!
