Israel Bound...

It has been a long time coming but after months of study and prayer and the last few days of packing ...the Israel Study Tour 2011 is on their way!!  Katelyn happened into this bible study this past year and what a blessing it has been for her!

 To see God doing His AWESOME work in the life of my little family is beyond words!!

We had a dinner/prayer service for the team last Sunday night...each of us received a prayer bracelet...

A simple request to my blogging friends...please pray for this group for safety as they travel, but especially that God continue His work in each of them during this trip.

Over The Milky Way about this Cake!!

I saw this recipe on the Pioneer Woman's blog and well...just couldn't resist!

So after getting over the fact that this cake contains 11 Milky Way Bars...3 sticks of butter...oops margarine...granulated sugar...confectioners sugar...buttermilk...white flour...okay, you get the picture...Chelsea and Katelyn jumped right in!

Chelsea was in charge of the sifter and mixer!

And Katelyn was in charge of the melting of the candy bars!

This might not be for everyone...but it is FABULOUS...even without the chopped pecans in the icing (the girls vetoed them...cause I would have had to go back to the store to buy them)!
